Facing my fear

I hate when my daddy mows the yard. The mower is so loud and it scares me. But today I decided it was time to be a big boy (and my daddy looked like he could use some help) and I walked right up to my daddy, took hold of the mower and mowed the entire yard with him. It was great and I was so proud!

FUN AT THE MALL

After the Zoo we went to The MacArther (sp) Center downtown Norfolk. It is this really fancy 3 story mall. We had lunch at Chili's and I spotted it out my window at the restaurant. A kids playplace. It was a large plate with a hot dog, chips, pickle and a watermelon slice on a picnic blanket with a spilled drink and bugs and flowers. It was like Sullivan in wonderland! So we had to GO GO GO! I didn't even want to let mama and dada finish eating. I ran and slid on the watermelon and ran and played so hard and then I showed them when they said it was time to go! I pitched a FIT but it didn't work. We still left, but I did get to play for a long time. It was awesome!

Back to the Zoo

We went to the Zoo on Monday! All the kids were playing in the fountains but I wasn't sure about it! The water was a little cold. My favorite animals this time were the Elephants and Monkeys! There was one elephant that kept throwing mud on himself with his truck. It was funny. The monkeys were hyper! They were playing and jumping everywhere. There was this one mama monkey that had a little tiny baby monkey on her back sleeping and she has jumping everywhere too.

Oh and I loved the goats. I got to feed them and they would just lick the food right out of my hand. This one goat kind of reminded me of my dog Bella. I got to feed it twice.

And I got to have Dippin Dots for the first time and they are really yummy!

I sure do love the zoo and can not wait until they open the train this summer! Maybe my sissy can go on it with me. And we can play in the fountains together when it is so hot outside!

And we thought we only had two dog!

Getting a little personal...

Well I have been telling mom and dad lately when I have to go tee tee so we went out and got me a potty of my own. It is so cool! It sings, it flushes and it even has a place where stickers come out when I potty. I have not pottied in it yet but I like to sit on it and pretent to be like mommy and daddy. I even wipe! I did not want to put this picture up but mama said I am a baby still and it is ok. I guess this is another blackmail picture for the future! Will let you know when I potty in my potty.

A wonderful suprize!!!

On Saturday we were headed to the beach when we heard a radio announcement for the Chesapeake Jubilee. Sounded like fun so we headed to it! It ended up being a fair with a firework show, craft tent, animals, yummy food and lots and lots of weird people!!! I got to ride my first carnival rides, a choo choo and a dump truck!!! I really wanted to ride the other ones but mommy and daddy said NO! BUMS!!! I didn't really like the fire work show too much, but the corn dog was yummy!!! I sure hope we go back again real soon.

Sweatin' for Charity

On Saturday we walked the TASA 5K with some of the people that work for Daddy and their families. Mommy and Daddy organized it and are buying everyone pizza this Saturday for their donation and effort! It was such a nice sunny day and after the race was over I got to play at the park!

The Ice Cream Truck

We heard music from our backyard and mom got excited and said it was the ice cream truck. I didn't get it because the ice cream truck I always get to ride is at Wal-mart and it doesn't go anywhere but back and forth. Daddy told us to go so we ran outside and there it was...big white and shinny, with a beautiful noise and lots of kids picking out what kind of ice cream they wanted! Now this was a REAL truck! Daddy got me my very first push up! It was yummy. I can't wait until I hear that music again!

Monster Trucks on the Beach

Mom and Daddy took me to Monster Trucks on the Beach! It was GREAT, other than the weather!!! Trucks were everywhere! I just kept saying TRUCK, TRUCK, BIG TRUCK! And then we found the mother truck of all times, the FIRE TRUCK! After we looked at lots of trucks we went and took a ride in a REAL Monster Truck on the beach! I sat in my own big boy seat and was so excited, until the ride started. Then I was terrified! I didn't cry though. Mom sat across from me and she kept screaming like this was so much fun and daddy was holding on to me but I wasn't so sure. We went over bumps and turned fast corners and when it was all over, I wanted to ride the other BIG TRUCK!!! If I wasn't shivering it would have been the greatest day ever!!!

TORNADO WARNINGS

Last week we had Thunderstorm and TORNADO WARNINGS!!! We live about 1 cm south of the words Virginia Beach on the map. Mom was freaking out! She made a palet in the closet for me and tried to get me to play in there. Daddy was at work and a tornado touched down right down the street from him. We were fine though, safe and sound!!

Pickin' Strawberries

We were headed to Pungo to pick produce and found a patch called Flip Flop Produce! It sounded so cute we had to stop. We picked 2 baskets of strawberries, with little help from Sullivan. He was too busy eating what he picked. Took a little bit to get him to pick the red ones and not the green or yellow ones. He was a funny little guy and we all had a good time with delicious strawberries to show for it!!!
